1 Day Tours
 
Historical Tour:
Visit the Goldsboro Downtown Cemetery and Tour Downtown Goldsboro's historical homes and museum.  Stop for lunch at one of Goldsboro's steakhouses.  Continue your tour to the the Charles B. Aycock birthplace site where you can tour historical buildings such as a school, homes and work shops.  After all that history, enjoy some classic North Carolina native BBQ at Wilbur's or McCall's.

Winery Tour:
Start your day at the Hinnant Family Vineyard in Pine Level followed by lunch at one of the local restaurants like Dee's Diner.  Continue on to Pikeville (just minutes north of Goldsboro) to the Secret Garden Winery.  End your lovely day with a fine dinner at Puppeta's Italian Restaurant.

Nature & Parks Tour:
Visit the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park just 20 minutes from Goldsboro and take in the many nature trails, cliff site and man-made swimming pond.  Bring along a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park.  Return to Downtown Goldsboro for an afternoon at Herman Park.  Dinner is your choice at any of the tasty Goldsboro restaurants.

 

3 Day Tours

Historical Tour:
Spend your first day at the Bentonville Battle Grounds just 40 minutes from Goldsboro.  Visit the CSS Ironclad Neuse in Kinston on day 2, just 25 minutes away.  Your last day could be spent at the Waynesborough Historical Village and at the Goldsboro Downtown Historical Museum.

Winery & Arts Tour:
Enjoy the Dublin Wine Cellars in Rose Hill (45 minutes away) on day one.  Day two begins at the Hinnant Family Vineyard followed by an afternoon visit to the Secret Garden Winery.  Your last day could include an event at the Downtown Performing Arts Theatre and a visit to the Arts Council & Exhibits.

Nature & Parks Tour:
Spend your time at the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in the morning and then on to Goose Creek State Park in Washington, just 60 minutes from Goldsboro.  Day two could take you to Durham and the Eno River State Park.  Spend your last day in Wake Forest (80 minutes away) at the Falls Lake State Recreation Area.
